Murders on Cripple Creek Turns One Today!

I mentioned yesterday in my blog post “A Year of Murder: A Lookback at Cripple Creek”, that today marks the anniversary of the Murders on Cripple Creek! Whoop! To celebrate with me, enter to win a chance at an autographed copy by heading over to my Instagram!

Winner will be announced on Sunday!

The Next Chapter

Buckle up because there are 3 new projects I’m planning for this upcoming year!

New Episodes: Mondays are for Murder

If you have been following my social media over the past summer, you were introduced to my blog, Mondays are for Murder, and with it – 10 episodes that followed Marshall Dogwood on a hunt for a saloon killer in Denver, Blood on the Bar – picking up a few years after the Murders on Cripple Creek.

Readers and listeners enjoyed the weekly format, as well as the accompanying podcast, so I plan to do another series in the same way in 2025. So lookout for when it will drop!

MOCC Series: Sequel

The next exciting adventure is for my sequel– Murders on Cripple Creek: Reckoning. Check out my sequel trailer below:

It’s the second installment of the series! It delves deeper into the Bradford brothers’ battles with Wade and Tom Littlefield, culminating in a full-out feud while introducing new antagonists to the Cripple Creek world. It’s definitely going to be something you won’t want to miss as you continue to follow Colt and Lark’s journey!

New Modern Murder Mystery: Set in Houston

Last but never least, is my newest hidden project I revealed two weeks ago. I am stepping away from the old west to a modern murder mystery. With alternating storylines, it will be fully introduced later this year. Check out the teaser trailer below:

Follow along on my journey of editing it and what I end up adding or taking away as the book wraps up, starting with the inspiration behind it in my blog post, “Weight of Words”. The most exciting thing about this novel? It’s based in Houston! Starting back up next week, the characters will be introduced on my social media. You won’t want to miss out on their reveals!

New Social Media Series

With all the large upcoming projects, you voted for my next Writer Wednesday series. The winner was Winter Recipes! So I’ll be introducing a short 6 week vlog series starting November 6!

Readers and followers have loved my cooking videos with my voiceovers quite a bit – which was sweet but unexpected! Each Wednesday checkout a video along with the recipe on my blog. Stay tuned as I explore the tastes of winter! There will be a contest ranking each recipe from best to worst too!

This Week – What to Expect

All week, I plan to write posts that introduce you to things I haven’t shared about Murders on Cripple Creek ever before. Now that you’ve read “A Year of Murder” and “The Next Chapter,” get ready for a week of non-stop murder!
